Get Out

Yesterday, I had to do some intervals. Evidently I had taken leave of my senses, because my first thought was "What can I watch on TV while I'm doing them?" That's right. I was going to ride on the trainer. Indoors. Yesterday. Luckily, I returned to my senses before I actually set up the trainer.

So I did my favorite quick 20 mile loop. Yup. Still weak on 2 minutes.

  • Even crappy cold wind in May is better than the trainer any day.

Did you see the Superweek schedule? I don't see Whitnall Park on there this year!! Crap.

  • Going to look now.

No Whitnall? There goes one more chance to race that course without making some hilarious stupid mistake.

    Next year.

  • recursive, I applaud you for getting out of the house to train. Might I make a recommendation that next winter you make the move to a temperate climate to train as you continue your rise through the ranks. The weather is lovely, the capuccinos are on target, and the women are fiesty. It makes one wonder why the Midwest was created at all.

    Keep it Awesome, my friend.
